A Totally Terrific DIY Weekend!
I had a great DIY weekend! I was able to get out to my garage both days and do one of the things I love to do; bringing old and discarded furniture back to life. Simultaneously, I worked on an old project I started a couple of years ago, a dining room table and started a new one, a media console from the 50’s. With the radio playing some of my favorite tunes in the background, I had two days of pure bliss and serenity. I ended the weekend by starting some experimental summer slipcovers for my sofa. Not sure when those will be completed, but at least I started. I made a conscious effort to give this weekend to myself and I did. I will share these projects with you as they are completed.
