Hooks and Knobs Anyone?

Hope you had a nice weekend! I had a chance to do a little DIY this weekend and completed this hook rail project. I wanted to add hooks to the back of my bedroom door to hang my robe and whatever else is destined to land on my bedroom chair.

I made this one using remnant materials and it is so simple to make. I cut the wood to the exact width of the door and glued a piece of trim to it. Next I drilled holes for the hooks, knobs and additional holes at each end for hanging. Painted and attached the hardware and used two wood screws to hang it to the door. That’s it; nothing fancy. Now home to my new soft, pink, cozy robe I got for Christmas. Here’s a closeup pic:

I just love DIY projects that use leftover materials. Have you made any remnant projects lately?
