All Snowed Out!
It snowed again yesterday, schools were closed and No.1 son and I spent close to 3 hours shoveling while No.2 son watched cartoons. The husband is in London on business. Lucky him! Lately, I’ve been leaving the shoveling to the men of the house (how sexist is that?) but it takes two, so I was out there, side by side, with my son. Actually, it was very nice, because it wasn’t very cold and we took mini breaks and had some fun conversation. Teenagers aren’t one for much dialog, especially with their parents, so I welcome any opportunity to have unplanned conversation. Dinner time is the best time for us to connect, so we eat as a family just about every evening. But I have digressed. Sorry about that.
Okay, so I think I have had enough snow and I am looking forward to the warmer days ahead. No real plans this weekend, other than catching up on some E-coursework for BYW class I first mentioned here.
Just wanted to wish you a wonderful weekend whether you are snowbound or basking in the warm glow of the sun. Either way, it is all good.
