A Headboard Makeover

While looking for a table base for another project, I discovered this headboard at the Salvation Army Thrift store. I tried to ignore it but it spoke to me. No, I wasn’t hearing voices but my mind started flooding with makeover ideas and I got excited by the possibilities.

This makeover was simple. First, I popped off the finials using a rubber mallet and filled in the holes with wooden dowels and wood fill. Next, I cut away the dated motifs using a jigsaw . Then I sanded, primed and painted it. What a difference?

Next is the fun part – installation and styling. To be continued…..

    Hi Karen,
I used Olympic, no VOC semi gloss plaint. The color is Azalea Leaf and I purchased it from Lowes.

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to get the http://www.lowest-rate-loans.com. Moreover, my mother all the time uses a short term loan, which occurs to be the most firm.
