Drawer Dilemma – Part 2
Okay, so I put it out there that I needed creative input on how to finish my drawer chest. You can read about that here. Some of you asked about it’s size; it measures 26″ wide by 9″ high. I got some great suggestions so I decided to use Photoshop to test out some of your ideas. Here they are, minus the knobs of course.

My design inspiration came from a beautiful record cabinet by Miss Mustard Seeds. It will be a charging station that will rest on my sideboard which you can see here, there are white and dark furniture pieces in the room, and, as many of you may know, I love the color blue.
So please chime in and let me know what you think? I can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
In the meantime, I heading over to:

I like the white with the natural top. I think it would look good if you distress after all painting is done so that even the design is distressed. Can’t wait to see it.
If you really love blue, I think one of the first two options would be the best bet … although I love each of them for different reasons!
I like the first option, all turquoise with white painting.
What a cute piece! I like all the combos but love two and three. {guess it depends on the entire space though} Can’t wait to see what you come up with! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! ~ Stephanie Lynn
Soooo pretty! Loving #2. I totally love 2 toned pieces. And your design is really cute!

Miss M’s chest is lovely but it was much larger. On a small scale piece like yours I would use a smaller-scale stencil design. There are a ton of stencil options available. If you are set on your design I would go with the white option as it shows off the leaf design best IMO. Will look forward to seeing it finished. Great project!
Those are some great options. I am drawn to #1 and #3, but you need to go with what speaks to you. I can’t wait to see how it turns out and I am so glad one of my pieces was such an inspiration to you!
What a great idea! I think I like the white and brown version best. It is going to be so pretty!
XOXO

I really like 2 and 3. I think it will stand out more! The sideboard is gorgeous, you did a great job! Can’t wait to see what you decide to do!
I love the white one-distressed would look great!
#1 and #3 aree my favorites…thanks for including the link to the “Before” shot. That helped me visualize. Whatever you choose, this is a cool piece.
Thanks so much for linking up with me. I hope you are having fun visiting around at the party.
I LOVE the 2nd picture!!
